Services

Burin Peninsula Brighter Futures offers the following services free of charge to all who visit our centers:

Resource Material Library

We have a collection of books, pamphlets, magazines, and videos that are available to parents and caregivers. The topics include nutrition, child development, parenting, and school readiness. These items can be borrowed by contacting a Family Support Facilitator, Resource Mother, or the main office of Burin Peninsula Brighter Futures.

Clothing Exchange

We operate a clothing exchange. The community donates gently used clothing and it is made available free of charge to people who need it.

Toy and Book Lending Library

At the Family Resource Centres, parents and children can borrow from a large selection of quality, educational, and age appropriate toys, books and games. Catalogues are also available at the Family Resource Centres. This is a great opportunity to have a different selection and toys that will captivate and stimulate your child.
